Take the time to visit the working studios of 18 local artists at our 6th annual Markleeville Artists Autumn Open Studios.

Markleeville is a small village of only 200 people, so it's easy to go from studio to studio and visit with the artists, enjoy the fall color, and walk the town. We are located about 20 miles south of Lake Tahoe.

Directions:
Markleeville is located 20 miles south of Lake Tahoe, California. Use Highway 50 or 89 from Tahoe, or 395 from Minden, NV to reach Highway 88. Then take Highway 88 to Woodfords. Turn south and go six miles to Markleeville. The Alpine County Chamber of Commerce is the first building on the right as you come into town.
